“We had a very erratic boiler that wouldn’t work at all or it would be very hot and then it would be very cold and we called Vector heating in and Liam came and had a look and he very quickly gave us a price on a new boiler. We had a Worcester Bosch in the end because you get a 10 to 12 year guarantee on those and what really amazed me is it wasn’t an urgent job but Vector Heat came very quickly. Two chaps arrived early in the morning and they took the flue out from the old boiler up in the roof, reinstated completely new flue and they put in a lovely Worcester Bosch boiler and by lunchtime they’d finished, which absolutely amazed me, and since then we’ve had running hot water and decent showers and we’re really pleased actually.”

We look at hot-water demand, water flow, the existing heating, flue, fuel supply and controls. You get suitable options and a written price for the agreed job.
Your home protected and the old boiler removed
We protect the work area, take the old boiler away and clean up afterwards. We’ll discuss access and any making-good work before we start.
System cleaning and a magnetic filter
We assess the cleaning your heating needs and fit a magnetic filter. A full powerflush is quoted where needed, not added to every installation.
Testing, registration and a useful handover
We commission the boiler, register its manufacturer guarantee and show you how to use the controls. You get the paperwork and someone local to call afterwards.
Our gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Check the Gas Safe Register.

We’ll register your boiler after installation and explain the servicing it needs. We also provide annual gas boiler servicing after the installation.
The manufacturer guarantee covers the boiler under its terms. It is not unlimited cover for every part of your heating system.

A straightforward replacement usually takes one full day. We agree the programme, test the installation and show you how everything works.
A cylinder-to-combi conversion normally needs around two days; a back-boiler conversion around three. Moving the boiler or finding extra system work can extend the job. We’ll explain likely heating and hot-water interruptions beforehand.
The right boiler for your home
Start with your hot water,
not a bigger boiler.
Two showers running together tell us more than the number on your old boiler. We check hot-water demand, incoming water flow and the heat your home actually needs before choosing a replacement.
Combi boiler replacement
Heating and hot water without a separate cylinder. Often a good fit where demand and mains flow suit it, but not automatically the answer for several bathrooms in use together.
System boiler replacement
A boiler serving a hot-water cylinder, with the pump and expansion vessel built in. We check both the heating and cylinder arrangement before recommending it.
Regular boiler replacement
Sometimes retaining a sound existing boiler-and-cylinder arrangement is the sensible choice. We won’t turn a straightforward replacement into a conversion you don’t need.
Oil or LPG instead of mains gas?

How much does boiler installation cost in Lincoln?

These assume a straightforward combi swap with a wall flue and no additional powerflush. A different flue route, boiler move, cylinder conversion, supply work or system condition can change the price. We survey before giving a fixed written quote.
Can you fit a new boiler tomorrow?
Next-day installation is often possible, but depends on the job, boiler stock and our diary. Tell us if you’re without heating or hot water. We’ll check the earliest suitable date; sending an enquiry does not reserve a next-day slot.
How long will I be without heating and hot water?
A straightforward replacement normally takes one full working day. A cylinder-to-combi conversion usually takes around two days and a back-boiler conversion around three. We’ll explain the expected interruptions and any extra work before you agree to the installation.
Will my boiler have a 12-year guarantee?
Not every model or package has a 12-year guarantee. We offer 5, 7, 10 and 12-year manufacturer terms depending on the option chosen. Your written quote confirms the exact term and servicing conditions. We register the boiler after installation.
Can you replace my regular boiler with a combi?
Often, yes, but we first check simultaneous hot-water demand, mains flow, showers and the work needed to remove the cylinder and tanks. Keeping a cylinder can be the better choice for higher hot-water demand.
Does every new boiler need a powerflush?
The system needs suitable clean water, but not every installation needs a full powerflush. We assess contamination, circulation and the existing arrangement, specify the cleaning required and fit a magnetic filter. Any full powerflush is clearly quoted.
Do you install oil and LPG boilers too?
Yes. We install gas, oil and LPG boilers in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Tell us the fuel type when you enquire so we can check the correct appliance, supply and installation requirements.
