LPG boiler replacement prices

Two installed prices
to get you started.

These LPG combi options are guide prices including VAT. They assume a straightforward small-home combi replacement with a wall flue and no additional powerflush.

Ask about the 4000

Guide prices from our current quote tool, not a final quotation. Boiler size, flue route, controls, access, cleaning and supply alterations can change the price. A new LPG tank, cylinder installation and fuel-supplier charges are not included in these examples.

Have a cylinder or a larger home? The boiler price tool includes more LPG options. Select LPG as the fuel, or ask us if you’re unsure which boiler type you have.

Off the mains gas network

The boiler and its LPG supply
need to work together.

You may already have a bulk tank or a bank of cylinders. Replacing the boiler does not automatically mean replacing that storage, but we need to check it can supply the new appliance properly.

At the survey we look at the boiler’s requirements, supply pipework and other LPG appliances in the property. Tell us who supplies your fuel and whether you have had any supply problems.

If a tank, regulator or supplier-owned equipment needs attention, we identify that before the installation. Your quote makes clear which work we are doing and what needs arranging with your LPG supplier.

What we need to know

  • The boiler make and model you have now.
  • Whether the LPG comes from a bulk tank or cylinders.
  • Whether you want to keep or move the boiler.
  • Any other LPG appliances using the supply.
  • Any current heating, hot-water or fuel-supply problems.

A few photographs of the boiler, its pipework and the supply arrangement help us prepare for the visit.

From survey to handover

What your LPG installation includes

  1. A boiler chosen for your home

We check heat demand, hot-water use and mains water flow. A bigger boiler is not automatically a better boiler.

  2. Your home protected

We protect the work area, remove the old boiler and clean up afterwards. Access, flue changes and making good are discussed before we start.

  3. System cleaning and a magnetic filter

We assess the water and circulation, specify the cleaning needed and fit a magnetic filter. A full powerflush is quoted where needed, not added to every job.

  4. Testing, registration and handover

We commission the boiler for LPG, complete the installation records, register its guarantee and explain your heating and hot-water controls.

Our engineers are Gas Safe registered with the appropriate LPG qualifications. You can check the fuel and appliance categories on their ID card or check the Gas Safe Register.

A customer’s experience of our team

Reliable hot water.
A tidy installation.

Andrew called us about a boiler that kept giving him hot-and-cold showers. Liam assessed the job and our team installed a Worcester Bosch replacement with a new roof flue.

“Since then we’ve had running hot water and decent showers and we’re really pleased actually.”

A customer story from our wider boiler installation work. Your LPG quote will confirm your installation time and guarantee.

Andrew’s old boiler gave inconsistent hot water. Liam visited and provided a replacement price. The team fitted a Worcester Bosch boiler and replaced the roof flue. Andrew says the new installation gives him reliable hot water and decent showers.

Combi, system or regular

Keep the cylinder
or change to a combi?

The right answer depends on how you use hot water, not simply how many bedrooms you have.

LPG combi boiler

Heats water as you use it, without a separate cylinder. We check mains flow and whether you need more than one shower running together.

LPG system boiler

Works with a hot-water cylinder. The heating pump and expansion vessel are normally inside the boiler, which can reduce separate components.

LPG regular boiler

Also called heat-only or conventional. Replacing like for like can make sense when the existing cylinder and system are in good condition.

Looking after your new boiler

Your guarantee, registered.
Your servicing, local.

We put the manufacturer guarantee in your written quote. The term depends on the model and installation package, so you know what is included before deciding.

After installation, we register the boiler and explain the servicing requirements. Our annual LPG boiler servicing keeps that ongoing care with a local team.

A manufacturer guarantee covers the boiler under its terms. It is not cover for every component in the heating system or your LPG supply.

Getting the job booked

Three steps to your new LPG boiler

  1. Tell us what you have

Send an enquiry or call. Let us know if you have no heating or hot water so we can check the earliest suitable appointment.

  2. Survey and fixed quote

We check the property, explain suitable boilers and price the complete agreed job, including any extra work.

  3. Installation and handover

A straightforward swap normally takes one full working day. We confirm timing, test the installation and show you the controls.

Before you decide

Your LPG installation questions

How much does an LPG boiler replacement cost?

Our two small-home LPG combi guide options are £2,321 and £2,833 including VAT. They assume a straightforward combi replacement with a wall flue and no additional powerflush. Supply alterations, a different flue route or conversion work can change the cost. Your survey confirms a fixed price for the agreed job.

How long does it take to install an LPG boiler?

A straightforward replacement normally takes one full working day. Removing a cylinder and converting to a combi usually takes around two days. We confirm the expected time and interruptions to heating and hot water before starting.

Can I keep my existing LPG tank or cylinders?

Often, yes. A new boiler does not automatically mean new storage, but the supply must be suitable for the appliance and any other LPG equipment. We check the installation requirements at the survey and identify anything that needs your LPG supplier’s involvement.

Do you fit LPG tanks as part of the boiler price?

No. The guide prices are for the boiler replacement, not a new LPG tank, cylinder installation or fuel contract. If storage or supplier work is needed, we explain it before you agree to the boiler installation.

Can you replace a regular LPG boiler with a combi?

Often, but it depends on mains water flow, simultaneous hot-water use and the existing system. We check those before recommending a combi. For a home with higher hot-water demand, keeping a cylinder can be the better option.

Does an LPG boiler need a specialist installer?

Yes. The engineer must be Gas Safe registered and qualified for the relevant LPG work. Natural-gas qualifications alone are not enough. Our LPG boiler installations are carried out by engineers with the appropriate LPG qualifications.

What guarantee comes with the new boiler?

It depends on the model and installation package. Your written quote confirms the manufacturer guarantee and its conditions. We register the boiler and explain the annual servicing needed to maintain the guarantee.
