The accepted cover and any property-specific exclusions are confirmed before the plan is activated.

Service-plan questions

The useful details before you join

Why is a plan cheaper when my boiler is under warranty?

A valid manufacturer warranty already deals with eligible faults inside the boiler. We remove that boiler-cover element from the monthly price, while still offering the annual service and the wider cover you choose.

Why do you check my postcode for a cover plan?

Our cover plans use a deliberately local area based on a 30-minute drive from the office, with selected surrounding villages included. Keeping it realistic supports same-day attendance for covered breakdowns. If your postcode is not automatically included, you can still choose a service-only plan or ask us to check the result.

When does service-plan cover start?

Cover starts only after the required initial visit, system check and acceptance. Your policy schedule records any recommendations or exclusions that apply to the property.

Which heat-pump plans are available here?

Choose the £19.79 monthly heat-pump service plan or the £25.79 Heat Pump & Heating Cover plan. Both are available whether the heat pump is in or out of warranty. Neither includes breakdown parts or labour inside the heat pump.

Can I add underfloor-heating cover?

Yes. If you tell us you have underfloor heating, you can add cover for eligible accessible components for £9 a month. Pipework buried in floors, screed, concrete or the building fabric remains excluded.

Who provides the service-plan agreement?

Vector Heat handles your plan request, servicing and local support. The service agreement, cover and monthly Direct Debit payments are provided by Central Property Lincoln Ltd.
