Height discrepancy: Vaillant's standard-range webpage quotes different heights from the manual. See the comparison below. These tables quote the manual's A heights. Optional buffers and service space are additional. Dimensions A-H have a ±5 mm tolerance.

Connection drawings
A = height. I = body diameter. J = drawn overall depth: 520 mm slimline, 636 mm standard. Use the full model row for the connection heights; Pure and Plus differ.

Frequently asked questions
What does each model suffix mean?
- ES: Pure, standard diameter, non-pre-plumbed.
- PPES: Pure, standard diameter, pre-plumbed.
- SLES: Pure, slimline, non-pre-plumbed.
- SLPPES: Pure, slimline, pre-plumbed.
- IAES: Plus, standard diameter, non-pre-plumbed.
- PPIAES: Plus, standard diameter, pre-plumbed.
- SLIAES: Plus, slimline, non-pre-plumbed.
- SLPPIAES: Plus, slimline, pre-plumbed.
Are pre-plumbed cylinders the same height?
The two manuals list the same A heights and I diameters for equivalent sizes. Use the pre-plumbed drawing for its fitted pipework and the exact model row for connection positions.
Manual and webpage heights: which is correct?
For the 210 litre standard cylinder, the manual says 1544 mm and Vaillant's standard-range webpage says 1549 mm. I only found this discrepancy while researching this page. I'll update the page once I've confirmed the height on site.
